Members and supporters of BICI are volunteers who bring to the group a broad range of experience and expertise in advancing the objectives of the group.
The ways you could get involved include:
- Management committee
- Project officers or labour
- Grant and sponsorship application writing
- Story writers
- Social media administrators
- Native seed gathering
- Plant propagation and nursery
- Promotion/stall attendants
- Trail guides
- Artists (graphic design, photography, drawing, painting, artwork)
- Specialist advisors (horticulturalists, ornithologists, marine biologists, environmental managers)

Members of BICI have a variety of skills and expertise yet they are all passionate about conserving our environment for current and future generations to enjoy.
There are three levels of membership: ordinary members, associate members, and honorary members. Please refer to the BICI Constitution, available for download below, for further information.
For those considering membership and volunteering, we encourage you to attend one of our general meetings, the second Saturday of every month, to find out about our current projects and how you may be able to become involved. You can also follow our Facebook page.
